Slimmo 是 Mac 上的图片、视频和 PDF 压缩工具。目前处于公开测试阶段（Beta），可以免费下载试用。
能做什么？
拖入图片、视频、PDF 或文件夹批量压缩，列表实时显示每个文件的进度。压缩程度分 6 档；图片和视频可以分别设体积上限，例如图片不超过 200 KB、视频不超过 25 MB，Slimmo 会自动寻找合适的画质，必要时再缩小尺寸，也可以选择保持尺寸。
压缩后可以拖动分割线对比原图和压缩图，常用设置可以存成预设。也可以把文件拖到菜单栏图标上，用当前预设直接压缩。
支持哪些格式？
图片：JPEG、PNG、WebP、AVIF、HEIC、JPEG XL、TIFF、ICNS。可以按原格式输出，也可以转成 JPEG、PNG、WebP、AVIF、HEIC 或 JPEG XL；TIFF 和 ICNS 只能按原格式重压。
视频：MP4、MOV，保持原封装，编码可选 HEVC（默认，更小）或 H.264（兼容性更好）。
PDF：降低文档里图片的分辨率和画质，文字、书签、链接和批注保留；有密码的 PDF 会跳过。
会动我的原文件吗？
默认在原文件旁边另存一份，文件名加 -min 后缀；也可以存到指定文件夹，或覆盖原文件。覆盖时原文件会移到废纸篓，不会直接删除。压缩后没有变小的文件不会写出。
输出文件不保留元数据，包括照片里的 GPS 位置。
系统要求
macOS 15 及以上，目前需要 Apple 芯片的 Mac。
安装
- 下载测试版 Slimmo-0.1.0-5344c2f.zip，解压后，把「Slimmo.app」拖进「应用程序」文件夹。
- 第一次打开时，系统会提示无法验证开发者。这是因为测试版没有经过 Apple 公证，App 本身没有问题。用下面任一方法放行，只需做一次：
- 方法 A：打开「系统设置 › 隐私与安全性」，滚到最下面，点「仍要打开」，再输入密码确认。
- 方法 B：打开「终端」，粘贴下面这一行后按回车，然后正常双击打开：
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Slimmo.app
如果之后压缩时提示「找不到编码器」，或者被系统拦截，请用方法 B 再执行一次。

壓縮後可以拖動分隔線對比原圖和壓縮圖，常用設定可以存成預設組。也可以把檔案拖到選單列圖示上，用目前的預設組直接壓縮。

Slimmo is an image, video and PDF compressor for Mac. It is currently in public beta and free to download and try.
What can it do?
Drop in images, videos, PDFs or whole folders to compress them in batches, with live progress for each file. There are 6 compression levels. You can also set separate size limits for images and videos, such as 200 KB per image or 25 MB per video. Slimmo finds a suitable quality automatically and scales down the dimensions only when needed, or you can choose to keep the original dimensions.
After compressing, drag the divider to compare the original with the result. Save the settings you use often as presets. You can also drop files on the menu bar icon to compress them with the current preset.
Which formats are supported?
Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, JPEG XL, TIFF and ICNS. Keep the original format or convert to JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC or JPEG XL. TIFF and ICNS can only be recompressed in their original format.
Videos: MP4 and MOV, kept in their original container. Encode with HEVC (default, smaller files) or H.264 (wider compatibility).
PDFs: Slimmo lowers the resolution and quality of the images inside, and keeps text, bookmarks, links and annotations. Password-protected PDFs are skipped.
Will it touch my original files?
By default, Slimmo saves a copy next to the original with a -min suffix. You can also save to a folder of your choice, or overwrite the originals. When overwriting, the original goes to the Trash instead of being deleted. Files that don't get smaller are not written.
Output files don't keep metadata, including GPS location in photos.
System requirements
macOS 15 or later. A Mac with Apple silicon is currently required.
Installation
- Download the beta, Slimmo-0.1.0-5344c2f.zip, unzip it, and drag Slimmo.app into your Applications folder.
- The first time you open it, macOS says it can't verify the developer. This is because the beta isn't notarized by Apple; the app itself is fine. Allow it once, in either of these ways:
- Option A: Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom, click Open Anyway, and enter your password.
- Option B: Open Terminal, paste this line and press Return, then open the app as usual:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Slimmo.app
If Slimmo later says it can't find an encoder, or macOS blocks it, run option B again.
Licenses for the open-source encoders bundled with Slimmo are inside the app, in Contents/Resources/Licenses.
